University of Manitoba (1976) During the past 25+ years, Penny Turnbull has been involved with the professional practice of corporate interior design, and since 1985, she has been the head of Turnbull Design Consultants Ltd. During this period, she has undertaken a wide variety of projects and has applied her creative capabilities to helping clients achieve "spaces that work". She and her team of designers are committed to bringing about functional and creative spaces that meet both the schedule and the budgets of their clients. Penny has a strong interest in the environment and has been a pioneer in the use of Sustainable Design products and construction techniques. Through her enthusiasm and knowledge, all of the TDCL team are cognisant of this issue, and work, to provide choices where feasible to our clients. Penny is active in ARIDO-EOC, the Association of Registered Interior Designers of Ontario (Eastern Ontario Chapter), and IFMA, the International Facility Managers Association. She is also an active volunteer at the committee level of BOMA, the Building Owners and Managers Association.
